When you register electronically or by mail you will be releasing personal contact information about you or your company. We are requesting this information under 5 USC 301 and 26 USC 7801. The information is being requested in order to establish a record of participants registered. We also need the information to inform you of future IRS initiatives, to provide information we believe you will be interested in, and to ask questions that help us evaluate our programs. Providing the information is voluntary. Not providing the information will prevent us from contacting you. The information may be disclosed in accordance with routine uses published in the December 10, 2001 Federal Register (Volume 66, Number 237) for IRS systems of records 22.062, Electronic Filing Records, and 10.004 Stakeholder Relationship Management and Subject Files.
